Mercy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant for our acute care team. In this role, you will provide hands-on therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients regain mobility and function following illness, injury, or surgery. You will carry out treatment plans, assist with transfers and gait training, track and document patient progress, and educate patients and families on home exercises and safety. Working in a collaborative, compassionate environment, you’ll engage in continuous learning and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care.
